A car is a transportation term that refers to a railroad car or a container on a flat car(COFC) or railcar. Railroad cars or freight cars are responsible for moving cargo to various locations across the rail transport system. Most of these are revenue cars, used when companies hire the railroad line to take their products to different areas of the country.
