A distributor is a business which purchases noncompeting products or product lines. The distributor would warehouse and resell the product to retailers or direct to the end users or customers. The majority of distributors would provide strong manpower and cash support to the supplier or manufacturer's promotional efforts. In addition, the distributor would provide a range of services (such as product information, estimates, technical support, after-sales services, credit) to their customers.
