Ecosystem
Ecosystems occur when platforms, software, solutions, etc. are designed to be used together to create additional benefit for the end users. Commonly, these ecosystems feature solutions working together a part of a larger system than would be found when users are only using individual components of that ecosystem.
In eProcurement, the Procure-to-Pay model can be used as an example of an ecosystem assuming that two or more Procure-to-Pay components are being used together to add value to the end users.
