Fresh Pack refers to seasonal food products that are processed and packaged quickly, usually at the growing location. For example, fruit products that are gathered and shipped to a separate packaging plant are not considered “Fresh Pack” as they sometimes will travel many miles and loose some of their freshness before they are packaged to preserve their just-picked state.
