Radio-frequency systems are a range of electromagnetic waves that is typically used for radio communications. These waves are identified by frequency which is commonly seen as kilohertz (kHz). This technology is detected by sweeping the frequency for a dip. This will cause the detector to trigger an alarm. This technology is deactivated by introducing a strong electromagnetic field to the tag and thereby partially destroying the capacitor.
