A case code is a Universal Product Code or barcode (U.P.C.). It is a product’s unique, machine-readable numeral printed on products, cases, and pallet loads. It consists of a scan able strip of black bars and white spaces, above a sequence of 12 numerical digits. The case code allows companies to sell products one case at a time, or a deal pack instead of selling each individual product.
