Cycle Counting is an inventory management procedure where a small select amount of inventory is counted on any given day or week. This is then compared to the physical inventory as a spot check against the recorded inventory. This will give a retailer an idea of any suspicious movement of any products, and is a measure of the accuracy against inventory.
