Pack refers to a standard number of items in a case. For instance, a case could consist of 4 packages with 25 units in each. Additional packs would include consumer  food such as canned goods, soda, and cereal with pack case being 24 items.  The consumer  food could have a case pack which typically ranges from 12 to 36, often in multiples of six.
