A signal component is a component of radio frequency systems. A signal component is made out of three components: amplitude, frequency, and phase. The amplitude is measured in decibels. The frequency can be either a high-frequency or a low-frequency and is measured in hertz. Lastly, a phase is related to where the waves begin and is measured in degrees.
